Last January 15, we held our first event of 2016: the R2R x Risqué Launch and Shopping Party. We launched our most exciting collaborative piece yet; Risqué designed three new shoes and incorporated the signature R2R woven panel in them!
Risqué Designs by Tal De Guzman is a local artisan brand that does customized and made-to-order shoes made out of all-Filipino materials – from weaves, silk, wood carvings, and indigenous fabric. Each Risqué shoe carries the artistry and heritage of the Filipino people, very much like our bags at Rags2Riches. From the very start, this collaboration was just waiting to happen.
We held a shopping party at our Podium Store to celebrate the collaboration. Since we started hosting shopping parties last year, we've invited our advocates for after-work cocktails and big discounts from us and our partner brand.
Our friends from Nipa Brew and Bayani Brew also provided refreshments for our guests!
Visit Risqué's pop-up shop at our Podium Store (4/L The Podium Mall, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City) until Monday, January 25, 2016. You can try on their limited and artisanal shoes that have the signature R2R woven panel in them and have them made-to-order for you!
